The Carrot named Mr. Carrot

The Creation of Mr. Carrot

Materials: 

- Construction paper (Orange, green, black, white)

- Markers (Black, Green, Orange, Pink)

- Glue

- Pencil

- Scissors

Step 1: Make the body of the carrot

Draw the shape of a carrot and cut it out with scissors.

 

     

Now make the leaves! I used dark green construction paper and drew a wiggly shaped design. Cut this out too!

Step 2: Make the details

Use the black and white construction paper to create large, round eyes! Draw your shapes out, two circles on each colored paper, larger one on the white paper and the smaller one on the black. Then cut it out.

Step 3: Assemble

Add the leaves and eyes to the rest of the body using glue.

Step 4: Add the small details to bring your creation to the next level.

I used various colored markers to add some texture to the carrot, add blush, add glasses, add shading onto he leaves. You can choose what you do and don't want to include, it is up to you!

I added a little bowtie to Mr. Carrot to make him shine! Enjoy your own Mr. Carrot and show your friends and family what a wonderful friend you have!
