Cutest Clay Caterpillars

 Want to learn how to make the most adorable little caterpillars? You are in the right place!

Materials:

- Clay (you can choose how many colors you want to include!)

- Scissors

- Glue

- Hole Puncher (Optional)

- Pencil

- Markers (I chose black and some shades of green)

- Construction paper (I chose multiple shades of green)

Step 1: Make the leaves for your creatures to rest!

Draw a leaf like shape and cut it out! I chose to do a classic leaf shape along with a unique rounded spike leaf.

Now lets add some fun details! I chose to use some shades of dark green to add more character to the leaves! You can use your creative mind here and add your own fun twist to normal leaves.

Now for the best part, lets make little caterpillar nibbles in the leaves! Looks like our critters got a bit hungry :)

Step 2: Lets make some critters!

Lets start off with making some eyeballs. I used black and white clay to create clay eyes. You will need to make 2 eyes for each caterpillar.

Now lets make the actual caterpillar bodies! Grab whatever colored clay you want and make them into 1 cm sized balls.

Now align these balls into 4 - 5 balls per caterpillar! This can depend on how large your leave is and how large your spheres are.

Step 3: assemble the clay - terpillars ;)

Use glue to attach the clay to the leaves. 

Now add on the eyes!

Now you have your final product! Enjoy showing your friends and family your cute creations!
