The Floating Boats

Step 1: Gather Materials

You will need...

- Scissors

- Glue

- Sponge (a clean one!)

- Construction paper of ANY color

- 1 wooden skewer (might need to cut to desired length)

Step 2: Make the sail

Use your scissors to cut out a tringle in your construction paper. 

Make holes in the marked spots above. Make sure the holes aren't too large or small so the construction paper will stay in place!

Step 3: Maybe the boat

Poke a small hole in the center of your sponge with the scissors. This is an indentation for the skewer to go into.

Now glue your skewer to the body of the boat (the sponge)!

Step 4: Assembly

Now you're done! You can float your boat in the lake, the pool, or even your kitchen sink!
