Reindeer

 Today we are making Rudolf the red nose raindeer!

Step 1: Gather the materials 

You will need:

• Construction paper (2 shades of brown light and dark, white(you can also use printer paper), and black
• Scissors 
• Glue 
• Pen or Pencil to draw with 
• Red bottle cap 
• Googly eyes (if you don't have these, you can draw eyes)
• Tape

Note* If you don't have light brown construction paper you can use part of a paper bag like I did. 

Step 2: Draw the antlers

First, take your pen or pencil and draw a long u shape with one end longer than the other. Then, draw a second u connecting it to the first. Then, draw a smaller u shape and a bigger u next to it. Lastly, draw the last long u shape and drag the end part down to the same level of the start of the antler. Repeat that with the second antler!

Step 3:

Take your scissors and cut out the little antlers. 

Step 4:

One you have your cut out antlers, take the very end of one them and fold it up. Tip: dont fold too much this is just to help you glue them on. Once your done set them aside for now. 

Step 5: 

Take your light brown paper or paper bag and cut it into 2 strips (even though i showed more). Note: the strips should not be too thick or long. 

Step 6: 

Take two of your stips and curve them into circles. Put glue on the tip of one side and glue in into a ring. 

Step 7: 

Put one ring upright and put the other one through it. Glue the top of the inside ring to the other ring so it will stay in there better. 

Step 8:

Take your antlers and put some glue on the part that you folded. Next, Glue them to the top of the outside loop. Once the antlers are secure, glue the eyes onto the top of the outside ring. Then roll up a piece of tape and stick it right under the eyes. 

Step 9: 

Now for the last step! Press the bottle cap onto the piece of tape that you rolled up.

And your done! Great job!
