Christmas Tree Cards

 Christmas Tree Cards

Wanna impress your friends and family with your awesome cardmaking skills? You're in the right place!

Step 1: Gather materials

Materials

  • Construction Paper (Green, Brown, White)
  • Glue
  • Tape
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Beads (You can use any type you want! But the ones I used are...)
    • Word beads that spell out "Merry Christmas"
    • Sequin beads
    • Ornament shaped beads
    • Star shaped beads
Step 2: Create the card

Fold your paper as shown above. Start by folding when paper is laid out horizonal side being longest (some of you might know this as hamburger folding!)

Step 3: Create the Christmas tree

Draw 3 triangles, all different sizes, one large, medium, and small.

Now cut them out! If your triangles don't all look like different sizes, try again! :)

Now tape the triangles together! This is your completed Christmas tree.
Grab your scissors and cut your taped Christmas tree in half. Make sure they are taped together well!
Now grab your tape and tape each side of the Christmas tree to the sides of the white card.
Now for the tree's trunk! Grab your brown construction paper.

Draw a small rectangle and cut it out! This is the trunk of your Christmas tree. Split this small rectangle into two equal smaller rectangles.

Once again tape this to your white card background.

Step 4: Decorations (the best part!)

I used out little letter beads to spell out 'Merry Christmas', based on the supplies you have you can either skip this or do whatever word you want!

These are the steps and the different beads that I added! You can do whatever you want, use your creativity!

Hope you enjoyed making these Christmas tree cards! We hope you use them and WOW your friends and family with your creativity!!
