How to make the most awesome...

ROCKET LAUNCHERS 

Step 1: Gather the materials

• White 8 x 11 printer paper
• Straws WITH PAPER  COVERING
• Colored markers
• Tape
• Scissors (not pictured)

Step 2: Draw body of rocket

Maybe start with a pencil first, then trace with a dark marker!

Step 3: Add in the wings

Choose whatever shape you would like.

Step 4: Add a fiery flame!

Once again choose your shape!

Step 5: Cut it out

You can choose to include the outline or get rid of it.

Step 6: Decorate!

Here, you can take a break and color your own way. 

If you would like to follow along though...

Step 7: Grab the straws

Unwrap the straws but make sure to SAVE the paper wrappings. This is a very important step!

Step 8: Assemble the launchers

Snip the paper material to a smaller length, ideally 3-5 inches long, and tape to the back of the rocket. Make sure the closed part of the paper wrapping is at the top, and the bottom part is open.

Step 9: Enjoy your awesome creation!

Blow through the straw to see the rocket SOAR through the air!
